Helping Jacksonville Families Navigate Senior Transitions

A Personal Approach to Senior Transitions
When a parent or loved one needs more support, families often don't know where to begin. There may be questions about staying at home, finding senior living, downsizing, moving, or what to do with the family home.
I help families make sense of their options and organize the next steps. I'll listen to your situation, help you explore appropriate senior living options, coordinate community tours when needed, and connect you with trusted local resources.
If selling the family home becomes part of the transition, my real estate experience allows me to help with that part of the process as well—so your family doesn't have to start over with someone else.
You don't have to have everything figured out before you call. We can start with a conversation.
How I Can Help Your Family
Every senior transition is different. You may need help choosing a senior living community, figuring out whether your loved one can remain at home, downsizing a lifetime of belongings, or preparing a home for sale.

1. Senior Living Placement
Help comparing appropriate independent living, assisted living, memory care, and other senior living options based on your family's needs, preferences, and circumstances.

2. Aging in Place
Not every senior needs to move. I'll help you consider whether remaining at home may be an option and connect you with local resources that can support aging in place.”

3. Downsizing & Moving
Moving after decades in a home can be overwhelming. I'll help you organize the transition and connect you with resources for downsizing, decluttering, packing, moving, and preparing for the next chapter.

4. Community Tours
Once you've identified communities that may be a good fit, I can help coordinate tours so you can see your options firsthand and make a more informed decision.

5. Home Sale & Real Estate Transition
When selling the family home becomes part of the transition, my real estate experience allows me to help you prepare, sell, and coordinate the real estate portion of the move.

6. Local Resources & Referrals
Sometimes you need more than one person. I can connect families with trusted local professionals and resources that may be helpful during the transition.

A Personal Approach
You won't be handed off to a call center or left to figure everything out on your own. I'll take the time to understand your family's situation and help you identify the next step.
Local Knowledge
I understand the Jacksonville and Northeast Florida area and can help you explore local senior living communities and resources.
One Conversation Can Start the Process
You don't need to know exactly what your loved one needs before reaching out. We can start with a conversation and work through the possibilities together.
Real Estate Experience
If selling the family home becomes part of the transition, you have the added benefit of working with a Realtor who understands both the real estate side and the broader transition.
Not Sure Where to Start?
You don't have to make every decision today.
Whether you're trying to determine if your loved one can remain at home, exploring senior living options, preparing for a move, or facing the sale of a family home, we can start with a conversation.
I'll listen to what's happening, answer your questions, and help you identify the next right step for your family.
